Left Coast Pirates - Florida's West Coast Pirate Legends

There are a lot of REAL pirate stories and there are some that are not so real. I will try to focus on those that are actually real and have historical documentation. But I will give nod to Jose' Gaspar who is probably one of the most famous FAKE pirates there is and one that drives a lot of pirate excitement every year in Tampa Bay. But the REAL Pirates are the ones that do not have such a romantic tale, and controlled much of the Gulf of Mexico. I will try to cover Jean Lafitte, Henry Ross & Henry Castor, and some other little known pirates Louis dAury &  Ben Margoza.
